URL Shortener with Click Limit
Set a maximum number of clicks on any short link. Once it's reached, the link automatically stops working — no manual monitoring required.
Why cap a link by clicks instead of just by date?
A lot of use cases aren't really about time — they're about quantity. "First 100 people" doesn't map cleanly to a date, and neither does "one download per invite" or "limited seats for this webinar." A click-limited short link solves this directly: you set the maximum number of clicks when you create the link, and once that count is hit, the link stops redirecting on its own. No need to log in and disable it manually the moment your offer runs out.
Every click still counts toward your normal link analytics, so you can watch the count climb in real time and see exactly when the cutoff happened.
Common uses for a click-limited link
- Limited-quantity offers — "first 50 orders get the discount," enforced automatically instead of relying on people to stop sharing the link
- One-time or few-time invites — a signup or access link meant for a specific small group
- Giveaways and contests — a link that closes itself once the allotted number of entries is reached
- Controlled beta access — capping how many people can claim a beta invite link
How to set a click limit
- Create a free account (click limits are managed per-link from your dashboard).
- When creating a short link, enter a number in the "Max clicks" field.
- Once the link reaches that many clicks, it automatically shows an expired message to any further visitors — the destination stays completely safe and untouched.
You can raise or remove the limit later from the link's Edit screen if you need to extend an offer, and combine a click limit with a calendar expiration date or password protection for tighter control.
